TakeHome ("we", "our", "the app") is a paycheck and tax calculator for US employees. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

TakeHome is designed with privacy in mind. Here is what we collect:

• No personal information — We do not collect your name, email, address, or any personally identifiable information.
• No salary data transmitted — All salary calculations happen entirely on your device. Your income, tax, and deduction data never leaves your iPhone.
• No account required — You do not need to create an account to use the app.
• No tracking or analytics — We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app may store the following data locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults):

• Your last entered salary amount (for convenience)
• Calculation history
• App preferences (language, appearance, subscription status)

This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to any server. You can delete this data at any time by deleting the app.

In-App Purchases

TakeHome offers optional premium subscriptions through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Third-Party Services

TakeHome does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The only external service used is Apple's StoreKit framework for processing in-app purchases.

Children's Privacy

TakeHome is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
